Overall experience -  2.5+ years

Bachelor Engineering in CSE Preferred

Responsibilities

·         Write NodeJS code to develop API’s integrating multiple AWS services.
·         Write NodeJS code to integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
·         Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
·         Design, architect and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant software layer to integrate AWS services
·         Integration of data storage solutions in the back-end – Database/Key-Value stores
·         Present the design to the customer and get buy-in
·         Be agile to adapt the changes quickly and deliver the code
·         Build POCs to derive solutions on new AWS services
·         Write Infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation template) to automate provisioning of the infrastructure
·         Write unit test cases and test reports
·         Write documentation – User Guide, Wiki and release notes

Skills and Qualifications

·         Should have 2+ years on Node JS - Mandatory
·         Strong expertise in Call-backs, promises - Mandatory
·         Usage of AWS SDK to utilize AWS services in the projects – Big Plus
·         Very good problem solving and communication skills – Mandatory
·         Very good JavaScript and OOP programming in JavaScript - Mandatory
·         Coding standards, Syntax and Algorithm - Mandatory
·         Node JS unit test framework – Mandatory
·         Knowledge of AWS (S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, EC2, EB, and Service Catalog)
·         Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
·         Good understanding of server-side templating languages
·         User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
·         Usage of multiple data sources and databases
·         Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
·         Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
·         Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN and Git
